The Dean of the University of Applied Sciences in Safety and Security, Dr. Luka Leško, participated in the Adria Business Forum 2026 conference, one of the most important business events in the region that brings together leading representatives of the economy, academia and the public sector.
This year’s edition of the forum attracted special attention thanks to the participation of the key speaker, Nobel laureate James A. Robinson, one of the world’s most influential economists and an author known for his research on the role of institutions in economic development and prosperity of societies.

The conference provided a platform for discussion on key economic, social and educational challenges of the modern era, as well as on the opportunities arising from accelerated technological, economic and geopolitical changes. Participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences, learn about the latest trends and establish new professional contacts.
The participation of the Dean of the University of Applied Sciences in Safety and Security at such international events confirms the importance of continuously monitoring global trends and actively participating in discussions that shape the future of education, economy and society.
The University of Applied Sciences in Safety and Security, through cooperation with domestic and international partners, continues to strengthen its role as a modern higher education institution that provides students and teachers with access to current knowledge, professional events and international experiences.
