Prestigious international scientific and professional conference on Policy and Governance in Information Security, held on 9-10 February in Dublin, brought together numerous members of the academic and professional community around the world who discussed the topic of information security in various sectors of a public and private nature.

Dean of the Polytechnic of Security Studies, Ph.D. Luka Leško, DBA, had the honor of opening the conference with a keynote speech on Trends in Information Security Governance among different sectors.

In addition to the opportunity for networking, the dean held a meeting on the topic of cooperation with Dublin City University, at one of the most prestigious European colleges (Trinity College Dublin) he visited the department that deals with security studies focused on conflicts, peace building and international relations, and exchanged examples of good practice with representatives of international leaders in the protection of persons and property such as Titan Security Europe and Double Check Security Group.
