On Monday, September 29, 2025, VSS held an Orientation Day for new students. This event was an important moment for all freshmen as it marked the beginning of their academic journey and their introduction to the world of security.
Welcome to future security experts
Our new students had the opportunity to meet professors, teaching staff and colleagues with whom they will share challenges, experiences and successes in the coming years. The Orientation Day was conceived as an opportunity for freshmen to feel the academic atmosphere, connect and find their first contacts within the VSS community.

What did the Orientation Day include?
The program was designed to provide students with basic information about the study programs, rules and organization of classes. Special emphasis was placed on the opportunities that VSS offers – from professional internships, projects and fieldwork to guest lectures and various activities that enrich student life.

The first step towards a secure future
An exciting and motivating atmosphere marked the entire event. Students had the opportunity to ask questions, exchange impressions and get useful advice from senior colleagues and professors. This meeting was also an opportunity to emphasize the importance of security as a profession that is increasingly in demand on the labor market.

Conclusion
The Orientation Day showed how important it is to provide students with a quality start and a sense of belonging. We believe that our freshmen will grow into experts over the years of study who will contribute to a safer future for society with their knowledge and skills.
