We are very proud to announce that Professor Tomislav Katić, M.Sc., a long-time lecturer at the University of safety and security, has received an award from the Ministry of Labor, Pension System, Family and Social Policy of the Republic of Croatia for his exceptional contribution to the field of safety and health protection of workers at work.
This award is given for achievements in the field of safety, improvement of the occupational safety system, and promotion of a healthy and safe working environment. Professor Katić has been passing on his professional knowledge and rich experience to generations of students for years, with a special emphasis on the practical aspects of occupational safety, inspection supervision, and risk assessment.
The award was formally presented in Zagreb on April 15, 2025, and was given by the Minister of Labor, Pension System, Family and Social Policy, Mr. Marin Piletić.
This award is another confirmation of the high level of expertise and dedication of Professor Katić, as well as the quality of the teaching staff of our University. We congratulate the professor and thank him for his work, which continuously contributes to the development of the security profession and the education of future experts!
