How has studying at the VSS influenced your personal and professional development?
During my studies, I mastered new skills that are extremely important for my future profession. In addition, I gained a wide range of knowledge thanks to lecturers and professors who are top experts in their fields. Their experiences and practical examples from the real world allow me to apply my knowledge in practice.
What do you like most about the study program you are attending?
I would especially like to highlight the joint seminars and projects that enabled us to collaborate and work as a team with colleagues. In addition, the professors are very approachable and always ready to help, which significantly facilitates the learning process and preparation for the challenges of professional life.
Which topics or subjects were the most challenging for you and why?
The course Disaster Management was extremely challenging due to the extensive material and complexity of the topics it covers. Although it required additional effort and time to master, it provided me with important insights into organization and management in crises.
How did you cope with your study obligations and private life?
The online system at the university is extremely well organized, which allows you to access lectures even via mobile phone and headphones in the most critical situations, for example, in the event of technical problems. This has significantly facilitated the course and allowed me to continue learning.
Is there a moment or experience during your studies that has particularly inspired you?
Writing your thesis was a special experience because we had the opportunity to delve deeper into and analyze a specific topic that interests us. This process allows us to fully dedicate ourselves to research, and with the mentorship of experts in our field, we come to high-quality and concrete conclusions. It is also an excellent step towards the practical application of knowledge in real situations.
