Introduce yourself, tell us a little about yourself and why you enrolled in the Polytechnic of Security Studies?
My name is Ozren Žižić, I come from Zagreb and I am employed by Zagreb Holding, a branch of cleaning services. When the Polytechnic of Security Studies, then still the College of Security, opened its doors a little over three years ago, I immediately recognized the opportunity and decided to enroll in this study. I have always been interested in security in the broadest sense, and this program has enabled me to translate my interests into professional knowledge.
How would you rate the quality of teaching and professors at your study program?
Through my studies, I have gained a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of security, with a special emphasis on occupational safety, but also on other key segments of security. The classes are excellently organized and adapted to part-time students, which has enabled me to successfully balance my professional and academic obligations.
What I would especially highlight are the top professors, who are not only experts in their fields, but are always available and ready to provide support to students. Their dedication and knowledge have greatly contributed to my positive study experience.
Do you think that the VSS was worth it for you?
Absolutely, because of the exceptionally high-quality program and the excellent support I received, I decided to continue my education and enrolled in a graduate program at the Polytechnic of Security Studies. I am convinced that the knowledge and qualifications I have acquired will help me in further career development.
Would you recommend the VSS to your acquaintances?
I highly recommend the Polytechnic of Security Studies to anyone who is considering studying security. The classes are systematically and well-organized, the faculty staff is always available to students, and the professors are not only lecturers but also mentors who will support you throughout your studies.
