About the study

The Professional Graduate Study on Security and Safety, majoring in Environmental Protection, is a unique master’s program that offers you the opportunity to study in the field of integral and corporate security. After a two-year professional graduate study in safety, students will be able to propose improvement of prevention measures for health and safety at work, protection of the environment and material goods, recognize problems in an interdisciplinary manner and present proposals in the appropriate area of safety and security.

At the graduate professional study of safety, you have the opportunity to choose the direction of Environmental Protection.

Upon completion of the Environmental Protection course, students will be able to propose the improvement of prevention measures for health and safety at work, environmental protection and material goods, identify problems in an interdisciplinary manner and make proposals in the relevant field of safety and security, especially:

Apply the provisions of the legal framework and use the possibilities of the institutional and information framework for environmental protection
Plan and organize the implementation of environmental protection activities and measures (with prior knowledge of the process in various industries)
Evaluate the best available technologies in order to reduce the impact on individual components of the environment
Create and establish an environmental management system in various industries by applying international standards
Supervise the implementation of measures, plans and programs and keeping records in the field of environmental protection
Manage environmental management systems and supervise the work of other associates
Perform managerial tasks in the field of safety organization, and especially in the field of environmental protection
Plan and develop safety solutions at the regional and national level related to environmental protection

Teaching methodology

The contents of the program cover a wide range of relevant topics related to security. During your studies, you will gain access to productive, practice-based projects and learn how to apply the curriculum directly to real-world situations.

The University of Applied Sciences in Security and Safety will publish the ranking of applicants and determine the applicants who have gained the right to enroll. Applicants who have acquired the right to enroll will be notified of this in writing. The candidate has the right to complain about the correctness of the implementation, which is submitted to the Commission within 24 hours of the publication of the order list on the notice board of the University.
