About the study

The Professional Graduate Study on Security and Safety, majoring in Fire Safety, is a unique master’s program that offers you the opportunity to study in the field of integral and corporate security. After a two-year professional graduate study in security, students will be able to propose the improvement of preventive and repressive fire protection measures, environmental protection in the light of climate change and green technologies, and recognize and solve problems in an interdisciplinary manner and present proposals in the appropriate area of security and protection.

Upon completion of the field of fire protection, specialist graduate professional study of safety, students will be able to propose the improvement of prevention measures for health and safety at work, environmental protection and material goods, identify problems in an interdisciplinary manner and make proposals in the relevant field of safety and protection, such as:

Independently make a fire risk assessment
Plan and organize fire protection prevention
Evaluate firefighting techniques
Design fire protection safety systems in different work environments
Perform supervision during the implementation of security system projects and the introduction and improvement of fire protection measures
Manage fire protection systems and supervise the work of other associates
Command actions in accident situations
Perform managerial work in the field of fire protection organization
Plan and develop security solutions at the regional and national level in the field of fire protection
Promote knowledge and education on the importance of fire protection

Teaching methodology

The contents of the program cover a wide range of relevant topics related to security. During your studies, you will gain access to productive, practice-based projects and learn how to apply the curriculum directly to real-world situations.

The University of Applied Sciences in Security and Safety will publish the ranking of applicants and determine the applicants who have gained the right to enroll. Applicants who have acquired the right to enroll will be notified of this in writing. The candidate has the right to complain about the correctness of the implementation, which is submitted to the Commission within 24 hours of the publication of the order list on the notice board of the University.
