Darko Palačić, PhD

PhD Darko Palačić, holds a degree in security engineering and a master’s degree, a master’s degree in information sciences, a doctorate in occupational safety, a Lead Risk Manager, a certified corporate security manager and a Lead auditor for QEOHS. He is a consultant for the introduction and application of risk management, the introduction and application of international standards for management systems, emergency response and a consultant in the field of business security. He is a member of the European Society of Safety Engineers and the Program Committee of the International Scientific and Professional Conference “Management and Safety”. He is the winner of the state Recognition for achievements in the protection of life and health of workers at work and the improvement of the occupational safety system in 2020. He is the President of the Committee for the Application of Security Standards of the Croatian Association of Security Managers, the author of numerous scientific and professional works and two books: “Security Management Systems” and “Protection of Persons and Property”.
